About the concert
ESSENCE marks ten years of Shuddhanaad with an evening of Hindustani classical music in Pune, in two sessions — Abhishek Borkar on sarod with Ajinkya Joshi on tabla, followed by Aniruddh Aithal in khayal with Pt. Bharat Kamat on tabla and Leeladhar Chakradeo on harmonium. One ticket covers both sessions.
The hour belongs to the evening ragas — the colours that arrive with dusk, and the night ragas that follow them. Unhurried music, the way it is meant to be heard.
